Allergic reaction on areola?

I recently bought a shower gel and used it for the first time 2 days ago. The chest and breast area immediately turned red when the soap touched the skin but it went away pretty fast in like a minute. And now yesterday I noticed a pinkish hue on one of the areolas. When looking closely at it, it looks like a small red patch like the scales are reddish compared to the rest of the areola which is actually more brown. And now it burns a little. Ive seen pics of allergic dermatitis online and i found something that looked similar so im wondering if thats what it is. I also read the ingredients of the soap and found a known allergen listed. But i noticed the areola part couple days after contact with the soap but I did have the immediate reaction with the skin redness. Could it be related? Is it possible for body soaps to affect just one area?

You may have triggered a patch of eczema, caused by the shower gel.You may need some steroid cream to stop it but if it doesnt clear in 2 weeks then see your doctor.

All the soaps are the same. I do not think one particular soap with do something different to the skin rather than the rest of soaps. Speak to your doctor about it.
