Allergic to antibiotics due to crohn's

I am on infliximab and keep getting repeat infections which means that the treatment then gets suspended, when I get the infections I get treated with antibiotics. With the antibiotics I have started getting side affects which start when I take the antibiotics, the side effects persist after stopping but decrease in intensity. What happens to me is my legs,hands, joints and feet swell to a large size and I am unable to walk and I am severe pain, as the swelling goes down a little walking becomes possible but only with severe pain. The gastro dept have said that this is crohn's related arthritis but it only occurs when I take the antibiotics. Has anyone else experienced similar?
