Im 19 years old and ive been having problems with my stomach for around 5-8 weeks. Right now im feeling movement around upper right side of abdomen, and i have nausea, but cant really vomit anything. During these weeks ive had a ct scan and x rays done but nothing. Im not really having any pains. Ive heard that when you get symptoms , is usually too late. Ive lost weight and have had symptoms around 7 weeks ago. And had my ct scan 5 weeks ago,and nothing, so.. what could be wrong? Pancreas? Liver? .. Please help

A CT scan should have picked up liver and pancreas problems...perhaps your doctor should order an endoscopy where they look in your stomach with a camera..at age 19 I wouldnt think you would have cancer..dont think the worst...Good luck and God bless

Yeah, thats what i want but most of my doctors dont really bother cause im 19, i got referred to a counselor. Probably cause ive gone to the doctor 4-6 times and to the ER twice and nothing.

First off - we all have a tendency to think the worse when we have undiagnosed pain. Internet doesn't help as we immediately scour it for info on our symptoms & suddenly that headache we have (as an example) is now a brain tumour as far as we are concerned. Know that stress & anxiety are huge culprits for intensifying symptoms and exaggerating our fears.

As the previous commentator said, at your age cancer is pretty low down on list of likely explanations.

Keep a daily diary of your symptoms, your diet, bowel movements, sleep patterns etc. Note if there are times of day when nausea is at its worse (rating it 1 to 10 helps in making that assessment). Also add anything re your environment /lifestyle etc that has changed recently.

Do this over the next few days to see if a pattern emerges, then take the diary with you to your doctor, & discuss your fears. If full bloods haven't yet been done, or done over a month ago, ask for them to be done again.

Don't be afafraid to ask your doctor about anything worrying you. Make a note of his answers as sometimes when anxious we only half listen and them embroider replies that may have little resemblance to reality.

Most importantly, try and keep the stressing down. AND stop self diagnosing from internet (we've all done it!)

    Positive wishes

Thanks for your time, oh i forgot to mention something important, about a week ago i checked my blood and had extremely low testosterone levels for my age. Normal is around 250-900 , i had 195. Ive been really depressed, anxious for a while now cause of several reasons, but i dont know, everything was normal.

    Hello fellow sufferer,

From what I've read pancreas pain is usually left sided.

Yup, it's usually in the middle or to the left, but im afraid it has spread to my liver, which is on my right side.
