aloe vera along side mebeverine

hi everyone

i was told i had ibs about 2 months ago and the doctor has given me mebeverine that i take 3 times per day. i wasnt convinced it was ibs but after taking just one pill before my dinner i noticed the difference. I missed one pill the other day and woke up with pain..though not as bad as i have had it. even though the mebervine is working it still feels like there is something there and have had some mild pain just recently....i suspect all the festive food and drinks havent helped.

Anyway the reason for the post is that i wondered if anyone has tried aloe vera and does it work and can it be taken with mebevefine.

thank you

Hi, I have suffered with IBS for many years, i have tried loads of things to keep it at bay. I have tried Aloe Vera juice, but as with just about everything i have tried it didn't work for me. Not to say it wont work for you.

I have found the best thing for me is to diary everything I eat and drink. Note the time for everything of day

and even Bowel Movements to see what is causing the problems.

I hope you have a symptom free Xmas as i do for all fellow sufferers.

My fiancee has suffered with abdominal pain and bloating and was diagnosed by her GP with IBS. She was prescribed various medications and cut out various foods which helped a little but nothing seemed to make much difference. For the last few months she has been using an Aloe Vera supplement and has seen a huge improvement in both her symptoms and general well being since she is feeling so much healthier and happier. I can definitely recommend you give it a go.

Hi. Not sure if you are still considering this but my other half suffers from IBS. We know someone who sells aloe vera products and she started drinking the Aloe gel. It doesn't taste the best but it really did seem to make a difference.
