Aloe Vera Gel with Tumeric Essential OiI - Best healing ever!

Posted , 53 users are following.

A few weeks ago I mentioned that I was so sad that I seemed to have had a backslide and shocking fusing beginning.  WELL! I want to share with you all my wonderful turn around.

I stopped in at my Coop and tentatively asked one of the nutritional experts there about skin diseases "down there".  The man I like there is an older fellow and very warm hearted.  He instantly gently said, Oh, you have lichen? and told him my tale that Vitamin D etc protocol was working internally and that castor oil had been very helpful externally, but not anymore etc.

He, Toby told me about Aloe Vera gel and to mix a tablespoon with 3 or 4 drops of Tumeric Essential Oil.  he shared a couple stories and even that he has Oral Lichen and he controls it with swishing with the liquid aloe daily.   I took the tumeric home to add to my aloe.

I read up on both of those online - amazing verifiable data on them. Anyway, long story short, this mixture is a friggin' miracle!  within a day the fusing was unfusing and I was out of pain again... and I think the thickened skin at my perineum is even getting back to softer.

I've waited a bit to share with you all; I wanted to be sure it was for real. By all means read up on these two things.   Oh OH! and along with that mixture, I have also read an article from a doctor that indicates that they think more important than the creams we use it appears to be the massaging in that helps the most!  Blessings, Nancy

Hi Nancy,  I got my aloe vera gel and tumeric essential oil  Can a batch me made or does it have to be mixed every time we use it?

So 1 T  aloe and 3 or 4 drops of Tumeric.

How many times a day do you use this?

Do you use any other creams at the same time or in-between?

Can't wait to try the aloe.  My landscape is changing rapidly.

    Hi Nancy

I just mixed up the tumeric  and aloe. I may have put too much tumeric oil in as I have some burning sensation. I am hoping this will work for me. Many people have said they are going to try in he last few days but I see no updates from people.

    Will post an update!

HI Susan... So maybe start with the ALOE alone... and let it get you feeling a bit better and then add the tumeric back in... let us know.  I am now remembering that when I started it - remember we all have sensitivities in different areas at any one time - I remember that my clit was too sensitive to put it there for a day or so... but my anus was very happy for the relief. so who knows; keep up the good work, Susan you are your own best lab technician - grin.

I have some burning sensation just from aloe by itself and of course same with the mixture, BUT it’s minor (and I’m super sensitive) and dissipates.

I hesitate to give a report yet, it’s been less than two days. I had a better day today though! Then overdid so tonight I’m sore... I promise to give a report after a week or sooner!

Good luck getting things under control, Susan. Hope pain-free days are ahead for us all. XO

So glad to hear you had a better day yesterday, Pat.  Thanks for keeping us posted... and get the tumeric even one drop back in your mix as soon as you can... cheers, Nancy

My heart goes out to you all....... still on week two of the steroid cream although I have ordered, and now have, the aloe vera gel and turmeric oil. I am waiting until the first month is over before I start down the natural route as want the two things to be clear from one another, if that makes sense!

We have a huge trip away in the autumn so I NEED to be comfortable prior to going as will be in trousers ( pants) the whole five weeks.

I read all the posts carefully and am learning a lot.

Will let you know how I go once I start on the aloe and turmeric route........ wishing you all well on your personal journeys wink

I am same as you . Just been diagnosed and given steroid ( clob) ointment . Have one month apply every night then one month every other night . And maintain twice a week . I use emollient ointment as well to moisturise. I am on 3rd week and it seems to be getting a bit better . I see your post was 21 days ago . How are you now ?

Yes charlotte, i had a run in with Clobetasol and natural essential oils so i definitely agree its wise to separate them. I had to use a tiny bit of Clobetasol about 2 weeks ago, i only used it one day but im so sensitive to it now. The next day I used my essential oil mix and because the Clobetasol thins the skin, my skin was much more sensitive to the oils, so I waited 3 days to use them post clob. Then it was fine. Hope this helps.

    Hi all,

Nancy thanks for initiating this post. I plan to buy the gel and turmeric oil as soon as Im back in the US next week. For the meantime, I happen to have some organic 98% aloe vera with me, and although its in its pure liquid form, it has been incredibly soothing since applying for relief over the last 3 days. In fact, Im starting to use the aloe not only directly on my skin (I splash it on with my hands or soak it into my skin with a organic cotton swab) but also as a base for the essential oil balms I have been experimenting with.I use it along with coconut and castor oil and it makes the whole balm feel really good on my skin. I will be trying the turmeric soon. Very excited for all the healthy options we have! The only question I have for Nancy KB is about the massaging into the skin. That seems to make sense, however I have noticed that massaging the skin down there in general has to be extremely delicate since the skin is so fragile and breakable. Wouldn't massaging it cause the skin to bruise and then make things worse? Just wondering if you have any feedback on this. I know we are all different so what works for some may not work for others... good luck to all!!

Ahhh good morning everyone! Well Lynn, can I just say: ME NO KNOW?

smiles - wellI do know that even before learning about the aloe/tumeric I havne't been particularly over gentle with myself when I just wanted to scrub off the fuzzy skin. I did once kinda get things dark once on the backside... but the aloe just pinked it all back up in a couple days. your skin may be a lot more thin? than mine etc.  For me my perineum I think was the first spot and now the bit that needs most attention but that skin is no where near as sensitive/thin as our labia... so take it as you are able.

About the massaging I was just reporting from other articles - but do remember that the action of massage does not have to mean to rub or scrub. we don't have to move our fingers across the skin, but gently massage the aloe or clob or other cream in place .. my guess is that they discovered that what we really need is to get better circulation under the skin down there.

Yesterday I got the Aloe and Tumeric and went right to work in applying it.  I decided to put the ALoe in the fridge so it would be really cold.  Mixed a little bit in a shot glass with a few drops of tumeric.   Last night I woke up with an itch attack and decided not to use the Clob but instead some more Aloe and tumeric.  It did not alleviate the itching completely, but I think it helped.  I'm already looking better but fusing has started on the left side. The Aloe and tumeric stings a bit, but tolerable.  There was no stinging with Emuaid.  So the jury is out a bit, but will continue with it. I thinkI may be confusing my skin with so many different creams and ointments.

How is everybody else doing on this combo?

      Hi Susan,

I haven’t tried the combo yet but if you’ve used clobetasol recently, which thins the skin, that could be the reason for the sting. When I used clobetasol just before (like 1-3 days) trying essential oil mixes, I also felt the sting. In a few days it will sting less I think, but in the meantime you could try using half the amount of turmeric oil or just the aloe. Then in 3-4 days when the thinning effect of the steroid wears off a bit, you can add more

Thanks for this info Lynn.  I have to stop using the Clob as the go to when there is insane itching.  I'm trying everything I can, except I haven't used the Borax yet. I'm experimenting with how much tumeric and how much aloe.  I'm really nervous about the fusing.  I can feel where the fusing is going next.  It's like some flesh eating disease.

      Hey Susan

I also use essential oils for my healing but haven't used Nancy s concoction since I'm not having issues right now. I've found that witch hazel stops the itch fast so maybe you could incorporate that alongside your aloe and turmeric oils. Just a thought as it did help with the nasty itch!😍

Hi Janie,  That is my question about using both Emuaid and the Aloe.  I'm sticking with the ALoe since Nancy has had so much success.  For two days I am doing well with the  Aloe, but was doing equally well with Emuaid.  Yes, at night is when I have itching attacks, and last night I used the  Aloe which quieted it.  I also got witch hazel as another go to for the insane itch.  I leave pre mixed batch in a shot glass with a tiny spoon and use that throughout the day and at night when needed.  I do massage it in. It is much more cooling than the Emuaid.  Good luck!!!!

Hi Susan, ok I will stick to Aloe its just been two days twice a day, havent used the Emuaid at all, but I was debating on using the borax too... but will wait and see how this will work on me, i started massaging , if its not flare up does it mean the LS is in remission or do you know when the fusing begins,? right now i can touch myself and but when i had the flare up i couldnt even touch cause it felt like it was ripping and tearing,, so was that when it was fusing? thats what i wanted my gyn to explain to me but she didnt, now i am waiting to really feel good to go to a second gyn to let her check me, cause i am scared to death to feel all that pain again.  janie
