ALS/MND should I be concerned.

I posted this in the Neurological forum but go not replies then locked my account.

So around May 8th I started having twitching in my right Lat. So I googled Twitching. Well that seems to have been a mistake.

So I go to my PCP May 10th he says I don’t have ALS. I then develop a big twitch left bicep.

That weekend, May 15th my feet start to really bother me. My toes twitch weird feeling legs feel weak.

So the next week I’m able to get into a Nuero. So about 2 weeks from the first twitch. They do a clinical. Normal strength, slight Brisk reflexes that are symmetrical.

Sends for an EMG that day.

The doctor doing it is an ALS specialist. He test my right shin, right calf, right quad, right Hand, right arm. Right shoulder. Says I don’t have als.

Well my question is could I have tested to soon?

My twitching has spread and become a real bother to me anxiety wise.

like my left bridge of foot twitches a good bit.

PCP keeps telling me it’s nothing.

Should I get another EMG or say I’m good?

Should I go back?

Could this be from the JJ vaccine?

I can't comment on your condition but I did start to have twitching in thigh muscle when I was put on Finesteroid for prostate problems. I stopped the drug after five doses as it also took out my hamstrings making it difficult to walk. You don't mention if you are on drugs.

Joseph do you sweat a lot, either from exercise or just hot weather? Do you drink enough to stay hydrated? Just wondering if your electrolytes are a bit haywire. Try taking a sport electrolyte drink once per day but also make sure you are drinking plenty of water.

If you drink a lot of caffeine during the day that could also give you twitching, so maybe look at your consumption.

Are you getting enough sleep? Twitching can occur if your muscles are not getting proper rest at night. Fatigue gradually builds up. You need a good 8 hours asleep. Dont use screens for at least one hour before sleep.

Are you taking any medications especially diuretics or anti depressants?

Lastly, twitching can be the result of stress and anxiety so if you think this is your problem try to get some help.

I have lived with 2 terminal cases of MND and your symptoms dont seem to fit this diagnosis. Dont think its a side effect of the vaccine either.
