Hi I really need help since 2015 about november i started to get muscle twitching i was 14 back then i still get them every day all over the body

(not painful).

Muscle weakness

I started to feel weak since november 2016 and still do.

I play cricket and im a bowler i used to be running in fast as i can when i was like 14 or 15 and was going well made it to my national age group team but then now because of weakness it has brought my skill level down. Dropped from national age group sqad. Dropped from district squad and now from club. I really need help like when i bowl i feel like i need to put extra effort as i feel like im out of energy and strength to carry on.

So any help or ideas would mean a world to me at this moment. Thank you

its unusual to get CFS without something to set it off.. its usually a viral infection or gladular fever, flu etc. Some time it can be an injury  or hospitalisation for some reason or chronic stress of some kind.  Do your syptoms inprove when you lie down?.. what is your heart rate like when standing and lying down?

No but some days its like i feel fine but this only happens like 1 day out of 2 week and rest are all bad and i wake up feeling tired and doesnt get better

I doubt it is anything really serious.. it could be something as simple as your body not adjusting well to puberty.. it effects everyone differently. Or even Anemia as your symptoms would fit into that. But i would speak with your doctor and rule out things.. like the other person said.. sit down and make a list as you tend to forget things when in front of the doctor.  I would also rule out things Like POTS as well as CFS/ME as its known to start around your age .

    Hi,

It's definitley worth speaking to your doctor. Especially to rule out things like MS. If it is ME/CFS then it often takes a long time to be diagnosed so the sooner the better.

I wrote down every health problem I have from extreme exhaustion to dry eyes and took it to GP because they might see something in symptoms that you might not link together. Might be an idea to write it all down.

    Good luck x
