Hi im wondering if anyone who had success with Lyrica but gained too much weight from it has been moved to another med very similar without the weigh gain problems please? I have been taking Lyrica for around three months for back /nerve pain and its really helped but I have gone from a size 10 to a 14 in a few months if it was just a matter of extra weight but feeling better I would be ok as I hardly leave the house anyway but the extra weight causes more problems with my back and I also have osteo arthritis in both knees and am due my first total knee replacement in Jan the extra weight causes more problems in my knees especially , so I cannot afford to keep taking them really one bit of help causes problems elsewhere for me im hoping someone has been prescribed some thing else that works as well Thanks in advance Tina x

I didfeel dizzy and tired but this helprd rith the pain and because I never sleep I welcomed this its just the bloating weight gain and my stomach always feels so sore and tender that has put me off my bust is large anyway but that too is growing its just not a comfortable feeling at all the extra weight or the extra pain because of the weight. Im not sure if I remember my pain clinic doc telling me that this had a better result than gabepentin but im also surd she said thete was a newer one I ciuld try if thisdidng help just cant remember the name hoping someone will know so I can see my GP about changing .I usually take 450mgs a day and stopped last friday so the pain is back a lot and backto no sleep again just waiying to get into my GP I wasnt sure if I could just stop and was prepared to have to restart but seems ok apartfrom the added pain again.have you spoken to your doc about your symptoms they dont sound good either i feel for you so muchhope you gey sorted let me know . I keep reading how addictive Lyrica is and I'm beginning to think that I should stop taking it now. It's not helping me. I still have nerve pain from RRMS.
Thanks for sharing your story. I kept finding websites where folks were saying how much weight they were gaining and how hungry they were.
