Am attempting subutex and dizepam detox but no sleep

I've been prescribed opiates and Valium for 5 yrs since a brain tumour.I have requested to come off of them but I know now that it can't be done in a healthy manner...emotionally was up there with the worst experience of my life. I have had alcohol detoxes which were debilitating but I would really advise someone thinking about doing this to get as knowledge first as possible. I'm hoping that so I can have a future again I have made the choice. I'm going know subutex free for 3 weeks but was put back on 15mg Valium 2 days after last dose because my body went into shock...I will now withdraw slowly...,,it is awful stuff folks...best advise dont take it. Prescribed 7.5 zoplicone to help with lack of sleep... took 1 each hour for four hrs and slept for four hrs...think these things need to be ridden out if possible not replaced with others. Am also prescribed 600mg of pregabalin.. 😟

I really sympathize Julian... I also am trying to withdraw from Valium and having to go very very slowly , it's taken me a year to taper 2 mgs , but that's  me , many people have an easier time , and if you go slow you can minimize your symptoms .

Have you been to benzobuddies org ? Lots of great support there in the forum.

    Good luck!

Hey Julian, I have been where you are and I can help.

let me know as many deatails as you are comfortable sharing and id be happy to help.

or read my other posts as they have good info on detoxing off of subs.

my advive ..only taper off of one chemical dependency first. There are too many variables (read relapse potential) if you do diazepam and buphrenorphrine simultaneously.

i have a Ph.D but cannot find the spellcheck on this darn site so forgive my typing without glasses,,,lol
