Am I getting better?

So here's my update. After suffering for a year with chronic anal fissure, something different (in a good way is happening).

So for 6 weeks straight I've been using the glycerin ointment (rectogesic ) twice at day. Cicatridine suppositery (one at day) . Codeine paracetamol (after bm). Since last week I started applying sudocream three times at day.

Now after the bm the pain that comes after like an hour completely disappeared (hopefully) had 2 bm and nothing happened. Only thing I get is a burning sensation after the bw. But I do a good wash and once I law down it disappears. I'm fighting two hemorrhoids, they get swollen after the bm . Using anusol suppos. Plus preparation h. If by Tuesday I wont get better I'll phone my doctor for a prescription of something stronger.

Do you think I'm actually seeing the light at the end of the tunnel here. Still cant stand up for too long, twenty minutes top. Have to law down, reset the whole thing and then I can start again. Just can't wait to go for a walk. Being stuck at home since lockdown. So scared to relapse again as I had good days and very bad days. I'm hoping but I'm keeping my feet on the ground

like you I had also made mayor improvement that lasted 9 month. I had a colonoscopy and my Doctor said i still had the fissures but to keep doing what i was doing until I was completely heal. So he referred to his PA. to make my story short she told me to stop stool softener and use linzes (if needed) . constipated first day but the second day I had a BM... and only had a little strained and I am back to the pain.... My fissure re-opened and it hurts like never before. I will follow your steps because have being in pain for three long days and cant bare the pain again . I also got nitroglycerin two days ago and started using it ... I hope i can see light at the end of the tunnel ..... to anyone reading this .... please do what works for you the best and do not make crazy changes like I did because I cry like a damn. Yes fissure can heal but it takes time and lots of work!
