Am i infected with syphilis?
I had sex with a prostitute on my bachelor s party a 9 days ago. My marriage is on 2nd February and will have sex with my wife for the first time.
So heres the situation,
1. I had sex with a condom on and made her *** which splashed a little on my pubic region
2. She gave a ******** with out a condom on and we also did make out.
3. After like 5 days a weird pimple with no a very visible whitish head grew an inch above my penis.
4. I popped it during shower
5. After a day it pained a lot and when i checked it became like a sore with volcano type red opening and some transparent liquid was coming out.
6. I freaked out , now on 9th day the upper part of my pubic hair region is swelled around the sore and 1 more small pimple has appeared.
7. My question is, is it syphilis? And if u think it is should have sex with my wife on wedding night? Coz i read and it says that i need to wait 6 week before std test.

Awais, I know this is a very alarming situation. But, think about how you would feel if the situation was reversed. What if your wife engaged in some sexual activity just before marrying you and got some questionable symptoms that she thought might be and STD. But, she saved her pride and married you anyway. Would you want her to go through with the wedding and have sex with you on your wedding night? How would you feel contracting an STD and find out, later, that your wife knew all along that there was a possiblity of infecting her husband?
Do you REALLY want to live this kind of life? I get the impression that you have many years ahead of yet, that is, if you don't contract an STD that shortens your years. Do you really want to live this kind of lie?
I used to work for an AIDs service organization that dealt with wifes infected by cheating husbands. It was SO painful to hear their painful stories.
Why don't you do the right thing and call things off until you get a better sense of what an honest relationship looks like for you. Or, should your wife expect more of this kind of behavior? So sad...........

The only way you can confirm is through testing. No need to wait for the 6 weeks incubating period. I think the doctor can take sample from "pimple" itself.

Awww...that is bad, man. when one reads info about the syphilis, one is informed that chancre appear on average after 3 weeks. but it can set on as early as after three days! While the shypilis chancre is usually painless...it can also cause pain.. Pain in pubic region can be due to lymph node sweeling. I don't think syphilis chancre would start as a pimple, more as an ulcer. Maybe you popped an inocent pimple, that got infected and can cause pain in groin region (lymph nodes). For syphilis, if there is an open sore, STD doc could theoretically take a swab. Treponemal tests can also become positive quite soon. But, a responsible doctor will estimate the probability of you contracting syphilis - and if there is a probable assumption, they should give you an antibiotic shot, profillacticaly! Chanker resolves by itself within a week, but in a few months you can expect additional symptoms (in case of infection). Blood tests in a few weeks will give the definite results. But i think you are ok, because sometimes are brain tricks us and cause symptomps psychosomatically and can drive us crazy. check out for the places where you can give blood for screening tests (RPR or VDRL should be nonreactive, they indicate active infection), positive treponemal tests (tpha, tppa..) show, that once in your lifetime you were infected.. but those results can sometimes be difficult to interpret.

OMG...people here seem to be very judgemental. Yes, you did something you probably wouldn't if you knew better. Anyway, i think you are only a human, if not of highest virtues, we are not here to judge! I feel for you (as for your bride). It is a difficult situation. Go to a clinic and if there is a high probability of contracting it, you should be given a shot! And everything will be fine

Excuse me, not sure if you re reffering to me as one of the judgemental people, but being cheated on sucks from someone who claims that they love you. My comment was more for protecting his soon bride to be, would you like to be infected with an STD especially on your wedding night? I told him to get checked before he takes any chances in infecting her if it was an STD. I hope it is just a pimple, however he too seems concerned that it could be more.......it's easy solution, go to the docs get a test if it's nothing that is awesome!!!! If it is something, please do not infect your poor new bride. You calling us judgemental is judgemental in itself, reread the posts, all we are doing is offering good advice in starting out a healthy relationship.

I stand corrected. I fully agree with your position. I feel that he should get checked.
Maybe what I'm reacting to is my experience working for an AIDS service organization years ago when many men/husbands were engaging in very risky behavior and never telling their wives. What were were seeing was an increase in wives coming in to our agency with STDs never imaging that they got it from their husbands.
The husbands were poorly educated on STD transmission and putting their wives at risk just to get a few pleasures.
This subject is a very serious one.
Thank you for clarifying. My best to you....
