Am I just being paranoid

I'm constantly paranoid I'm having or going to have a breakout even though I've only had 2 breakouts in 14 years. I just don't feel right, how do you know if you're having an internal breakout. I have no lumps or blusters so have to reason to go to the gp, I'm starting to think it's just in my head now!!

It sounds like you have anxiety issues and you are projecting it out on your herpes. I've had herpes do ten months and I had symptoms daily for 8 months and obs twice a month. I had internal obs on the 3rd or 4th day of my period. I knew because it hurt a little bit to insert or remove a tampon and it left a spot on the tampon the same place every time.

I do not understand what you are worrying about, as people wish they were in your shoes. 14yrs and two obs? That's what all of us pray to have. Recurrents aren't even painful and go away in days, so I'm not sure I understand what you're stressing about?

What symptoms do you have now?

Have u always been paranoid of having an OB , for 14 years?

or is it because youre having symptoms ?

No I haven't always been paranoid as I've had no symptoms for all that time and then a lump came up last year. I wasn't stressed or any of the other common trigger factors so if it happened then it could happen anytime. I have the odd itching, seems to be in the same place but maybe it's just a standard itch, sometimes feel like I might be getting thrush but maybe that's down to having to wear tights to work every day. These could all be normal things however I now relate everything to herpes!!!

Ibitch in the sane places occasionally too w herpes. It is just asymptotic symptoms and ia likely the virus is shedding. A bump for an ob is really no big deal. No need to worry. May I ask what byoubare so worried about? I mean it's a bump? No different than an ingrown hair.

Yeah so you'll know it's not thrush because it'll be in the same area and never get worse and goes away at times. That is why it is good to journal your symptoms, food and drink and stress triggers where you feel things more. You do realize you are contagious at times even w out an ob right?
