Amiodipine and side effects

I also have been taking amlodipine for 3months now and have had very sore red eyes since the beginning. I went to the optician a few days ago and she said it probably is due to the tablets however the benefits outweigh the problems of not reducing blood pressure and the problems that go with it. I have some eye drops that seem to be giving me some comfort

    I am on Amlodipine 5mg many years, it creates consitpation but my Dr asked me to manage the consitpation by food and excerise since Amlodipine can reduce the BP effectively.
