Amitriptyline and palpitations

Hi

I was giving amitriptyline 10mg about a week ago for pain and just wanted to know if there worth sticking with as a part from feeling ruff as anything the next day they also give me bad palpitations as if my heart keeps racing then hand braking. I am on bisoprol for palpitations so not sure if to stop the amitriptyline. Am also on venlafaxine for depression  and was wondering if this can clash with these

I've been taking 25mg for over 25 years..never been increased, sleep like a baby..never feel pain in sleep, never experienced palpitations on them, however all meds work differently, for different people..I would check out what all the meds do together,,your doc should have told you what to expect....grrr...maybe there is a hospital pharmacist you could ring..be blessed Jon, have a great day..:-) xxx
