Amitriptyline and weight gain

Hi

I have been on amitriptyline for 4 and a half years for nerve pain. I was on 10mg before it was increased eventually to 75mg up to March 2020. In that time I put on a stone and a half. My doctor reduced my dose down to 50mg from April 2020. In that time I seem to put and lose the same four pounds - it is very demoralising.

my question is has anyone seen a weight loss reducing their dose ofamitriptyline? I imagine my doctor will want me to reduce my dose but I will be still on 25mg.
