Amitriptyline/nortriptyline side effects after stopping

i was on amitriptyline, then nortriptyline for about 6 months to alleviate the pain from a repetitive strain injury. My dosage peaked at 40mg for a small amount of time but i was on around 20mg for most of the time.

i have had to discontinue it because of severe dry eyes which prevent me using computer screens and cannot be managed with eye drops.

its 4 weeks now since i stopped, and i still have severe dry eyes, mouth and skin (side effects collectively known as anticholinergic side effects). The half life of either drug means that it should be out of my system after 20 days.

does anyone have any experience of side effects persisting after discontinuation (and systemic elimination) and can tell me how long they lasted?
