Amitriptyline side effects - normal?

I was on 50mg for over a year, I decreased to 25mg, 12.5mg and then quit cold turkey after 12.5mg. I was great for the first week after stopping and then the itching started. My anxiety is through the roof and all I can think, is that I have liver problems. My itching is very similar to when I had gallbladder issues - located mainly to the hands/feet and scalp. I have bloodwork coming up but is itching a "normal" side effect of stopping????? I refuse to go back on it - hoping someone can tell me their itchyness went away & im not dying of liver problems 🤦
