hi there, i had take amitriptyline for around 7 months to help prevent migraines. I came off 6 weeks ago due to weight gain and now my migraines are as bad as they were before and are now more frequent aswell. Has anyone else experienced this ?

One thing comes to mind: when taking Ami, were you on other meds?
I ask because often different drugs when taken together have an unexpected impact on a person, such as a faster heart rate or weight gain etc.
If so, then perhaps replace the other drug with one that does NOT interact negatively with Ami and go back to taking Ami but at a lower dose, with the aim of weaning off it.
