One day im fine next day im sick.  Get heavy eyelids and pressure between eyes. has anyone experienced withdrawls for this long after only taking 10mg for a month?

10mg is a low dose of this drug, I take 50mg/75mg  every evening and have done so for a long time, they work for me.

If you have stopped taking the drug twenty four days ago you should be ok. Do you suffer Anxiety ?

Talk to your GP you may need some other type of medication

    Hi Andrew,

I have been taking Amitryptilin for 3 year for Neuropathy following shingles. I currently take 50mg/d. I don’t have any problems. It can take many weeks to get into your system and have an impact on your symptoms. Bob is right, 10mg is indeed a very low dose. To put it into perspective, 150mg is a high dose! I would not assume that, even after 24 days, your symptoms are due to withdrawal. You really should see your GP and discuss this. You did not say why you take Amitryptilin, there are nearly always alternatives that can be tried. Good luck.
