Amlodipine

please help, I have been on 5mg of this drug for 3 weeks along with 28mg Candestartn, which the dose has just been increased from 16mg to 28mg plus the 5mg of Amlodipine.

after the first few days I was getting pains in and around my groin area, nothing severe but irritating after a week the pain seem to go to my back and hips especially the left side, a few more days sciatica type pain, a couple of days further on severe pain in top of left leg with numbness and pain down into my foot and ankle,

I now cant lie down, not even on the flat of my back and can barely walk more than 5 yards without me cringing with pain, I asked my doctor yesterday ife this coukd be caused by the medication, she said no. As my blood pressure is still up at around 165/85 she wants me to take another 5mg a day, total 10mg.

I feel as though I should come off these as i am convinced they are the cause of the problem.

I can not sleep with the pain and am getting myself more stressed.

anyone else had similar problems
