i was placed on amlodipine several years ago and began to have atrial flutters 3-4 years after taking amlodipine and now it has worsened. i have stopped taking the medication for a couple of months now but the arrythmias continue

I has something similar when taking Amlodipine, You don't say when you stopped taking it but sorry to say, the longer you're on it, the longer it takes for the side effects to fade.

I was on amlodipine 2.5mg for about a month and a half.
I'm still having heart palpitations, but they're not as bad. I'm as having mild pains under my left breast. I've been off of the drug for 4 days.
