Ammonia burning feeling in nose and throat

About 7 on the ago I had my gallbladder taken out due to some small stones.  I have been taking omeperzole for over 3 years since being diagnosed with a mild hiatia hernia. Pains under my ribs have come and gone. Mostly gone now.  Have had scopes barium X-rays and every thing comes back within normal limits. I just had the ph study and do have reflux with and without acid.  But the thing is I doing feel like I have reflux. It feels like gas in my throat and nose now.  I take probiotics and all types of vitamins along with mild antidepressants to curb IBS.  I now am on 40 mg omeperzole twice a day plus a suppression drug to bind acid. Trying to eat a a mild diet.  I don't drink and don't smoke.  Still having issues. I am over weight by about 40 lbs. and 52 years old.  Could this still be reflux issues?  Does anyone know of anything else to ask the doctors or experience this feeling.   It seems every time I go to my GP or GI Doctor they say there really is nothing really wrong.  But this does not feel right.
