An opinion please

Hi All

Been feeling a bit run down of late and wondering if I can get some opinions.

Back in December I had a bit of a moment of madness and had an incident with a prostitute... basically I was drunk and had around ten seconds of oral sex, then realised how stupid I was being and stopped myself.

About two weeks later I woke up with a rash on the palms of my hands and soles of my feet... which eventually spread across my whole body.

An embarrassing round of sti tests followed all coming back negative for 2, 6, 8 and 12 weeks. I was screened for everything and was told a twelve week negative was conclusive it was quite a relief.

I came clean to my partner almost straight away too and thankfully we sorted it all out.

Anti histamines got rid of the body rash with the exception of a couple of red marks on my hands and my feet itch still. The red marks actually seem to hurt a little and when I grab something  (for instance a door handle) I actually feel a bit of pain in my fingers.  It’s the same in my feel if I stand for long periods of time, which never bothered me before. All this has turned up with a bit of “pins and needles” in my hands and feet.

I also (and forgive me for mentioning it) have a poo issue. It’s all mushy, sticky and while still it’s normal brown, hasn’t been solid in a number of months.

My sleep is interrupted (getting up at 4 or 5 am for food or a cigarette) and I am really lethargic and clumsy in the morning,  and very tired and irritable at night. When I wake up I am always dehydrated.

I am also itching on my back and shoulders (no rash) and in my eyes (very mildly) along with a bloated feeling in my stomach and mild headache with chest discomfort.

Checking the STI symptoms there’s nothing that really matches... and I don’t feel unwell, just not myself.

It’s worth adding that I have been under a lot of stress this last year but I am getting a little worried health wise.

Can anyone give their opinion please?

Yes, put it down to your conscience. The mind likes to punish the body.

Hi Mike - what about a thorough check up? It sounds like there are gastric problems. Changed diet recently? Full medical check is your best bet.
