Anal bleeding.

I've been bleeding on and off for years… Over 10 years now… Seven years ago I had an anal fistula which was repaired... I had a sigmoidology, analscope, MRI, proctoscope done for the fistula... I insisted they checked everything because I would bleed for my bum a lot. They didn't find anything but a few haemorrhoids ... since then I've been bleeding on and off… I suffer from IBS… I go to the washroom 2 to 3 times every morning… Sometimes I force myself… I believe I'm bleeding because I go too much... I Kinda know when I'm going to bleed… However the other day I don't know why I started bleeding. I have not bled for seven weeks it was a miracle… I would just get off the toilet clean myself and walk away… This worked... However, Earlier this week I was kind of holding my bm and it was explosive… And I started bleeding again… I've had a faecal blood test done… I've also had my doctor look in my anus… My concern is anal cancer or rectal cancer… My doctor told me I should've been dead by now lol. I'm just wondering if anyone else bleeds from the haemorrhoids or fishers All the time or frequently...

It's even gotten to the point where I've looked To see where the bleeding is coming from… And I see a little slit that bleeds a lot… If I put a piece of. Toilet paper there it stops... i'm just very paranoid… Not sure what else I could do… I can get a colonoscopy but the bleeding is coming from this area… It's either a fisher or a haemorrhoid with a slit in it as for anal surgery… The fistula was excruciating pain I will not do that again…

I bleed for weeks and then nothing at all for weeks. The only clue I can find that makes things worse is firm stools or heavy lifting. Tried stool softeners yesterday and no blood this morning, first time in 7 days and only the 3rd in the past 20!
I hate it, or scares and depresses me.
Safe to say if yours was a nasty issue you'd know for sure by now. Try not to worry.

I'm 44, had bleeding on and off for two years, but issues with small piles and pain for around 20. I had colonoscopy 2 years ago and found mild diverticulitis. Had exploratory surgery a while ago and only found two thrombosed veins and a healed fissure. They advised to keep hydrated and stools soft. This last 3 weeks use the worst I've had it since new year, and prior to that May last year.
I hate it.

Have you seen a doctor? If not, see a doctor. Then go for a colonoscopy if they advise it. Don't just wait and hope it goes away by itself, get a professional opinion.
