Anal burning

I just started using the clob this weekend, I didn't have any symptoms before, my gyn decided to start the treatment for protocol and to avoid progression of the LS that was confirmed through a biopsy... Now I have a burning sensation around my anus... Any suggestion on what to do?

Try using Sudocream. Buy it in baby section. Will act as a barrier. Had the same problem and dermatologist has me using this after every toilet visit initially. Everything has calmed down. Unless LS is affecting anus don't use clob there. Hope this helps

    Hi

I dont use Clob for LS I first used Diprosone OV Ointment, now Advantan Ointment. I can remember when first using Diprosone I had some irritation due to being a very strong steroid but after 3-4 days it settled. It did cause some redness though which was why they changed it to Advantan.  If you are still having burning when using the Clob past 3-4 days you may need to go back to your skin specialist to change to something else. IT is important that you just use these steroids very thinly like smear and massage in, too much will cause irritation.
