I have had a hemorrhoid since June. It has shrunk and expanded with bowel movements. I got this while I was traveling in Asia for the past year. It seems as though my LS has spread there because I noticed some white spots. Has anyone experienced this? I can't tell the difference. I am worried!

sometimes the piles look like they have gone but can drop down from inside during bowel movements. It can shrink but still remain as a skin tag which can re fill again with blood. It can be a purple colour also as this is the blood. I dont think it sounds like cancer but I would just get it checked for your peace of mind. Yes i had a flare of L S during piles a couple of months back. Maybe you ate different foods while travelling or didnt or couldnt get to the toilet when you needed to go and piles ensued.

I think this has happened. Thank you so much for your response. I should mention that I do not have bleeding (only when I have had a difficult bowel movement) and there is no blood in my stool. Additionally, I should mention that I have extremely slight pain/an uncomfortable feeling down there. I think my skin is more fragile because of the LS. At the moment, I am traveling in London and I checked and for a consultation it costs 260 pounds. I am going back to Canada in 3 weeks (or a month). I am from Canada, and it would be free there. I don't know if it is dangerous to wait. But I do not think I have all the symptoms. I have not lost weight and I do not have have any noticeable swollen lymph nodes in my groin area.

Make sure you eat enough fibre and drink alot, you sound intelligent so will know this so sorry if it sounds silly. if you are constipated it will be uncomfortable plus if there are any fissures there so that may be the blood you mean. Dont google as the worst thing comes up all the time.

I have similar discomfort. I would suggest if you are traveling that you carry a smooth sponge in a plastic container and wash your self after any bowel movement. A sprinkle of bicarb can be very soothing. However, it is essential that you can dry yourself properly afterwards. Also a small pot of coconut oil to apply when dry. These tricks make all the difference.

Hey i have internal hemoroids in the early stages of my LS i did have it behind but i dont tend to get it there anymore which is strange! Id say go to a doctor and see what they say good luck!

hi i i have exactly the same. It appeared out of no where, i went to the doctors & doctor didnt examine me as he was male said make an appoint to see the nurse. when i changed my diet i noticed that constantly i had constipation i started with blood in the stools to flooding the toilet with blood. was given cream to apply after bowel movement you can get at the chemist. and depositary to put inside after stools to help these you can buy over the counter at the chemist.
