Anal fissure

Has anyone else ever had this experience? After child birth i got a fissure this was 4 years ago. For 3 years i tried medications to try and heal it with no such luck. Last August i had my first spincerecotomy. I was still in pain and still bleeding so 4 weeks later she cut the muscle on the other side. Of course i was still bleeding alof and still in pain. So i was referred to a different colorectal surgeon. He went in a third time to make sure he didn’t have to cut the muscle more and found it couldn’t be cut anymore with out long term issues. So i went back for a 4th surgery where he did an advancement flap. Infection led to another infection which led to a 5th surgery a 6th surgery and a 7th surgery. (5-7 were debridment under anesthesia) I’m still bleeding but not in as much pain. Curious if anyone else has ever had this??

    Hey kmac5990

Have you tried the ointment called rectogesic? Or is it far beyond that?

Oh my way beyond that. They just keep going back in and debriding the area. It’s awful
