Hi, was the laser surgery meant to cauterize the fissure? If so, you are looking at a slow healing process. The Kenalog Protocol done by Dr. Feingold is almost the same if your surgery happens to be about cauterizing the wounds. The only time I get a burning sensation is having hot spicy food the day before. Could be, not a definite. Might also be your stool was not soft enough. Sometimes our diet puts too much stress in places we had previously traumatized. If any of that makes sense. I hope you feel better soon.
