Anal Fissure Bleeding that seems a bit strange

I've been under a lot of pressure lately and haven't been eating as well as I should. I also have had extreme anxiety and now my fissure has reappeared after a long break. The one thing that seemed different this time is that the blood was more pink (very little of it) and almost a maroon colour (also very little) when I wiped. Again, very little. And almost like a liquid consistency. My stool looked normal. And of course, the BM was painful.

Anyone else have similar experiences with this weird colour when they wiped?

?I'm trying not to panic, but I am freaking out.

    Hi Molly, don’t worry too much. Just take care of yourself like usual, try eat better, cut out meat and dairy and eat more fruit and veg. Give it a few days and if the blood or pink stuff continues then maybe see the doctor. I have had a similar thing, but it passed. I assumed it was the beetroot in my morning juice smile 

    Don’t forget to keep your usual toilet routine.
