Anal fissure incontinence

Hi everyone im a 26 year old man with wife and two kids and ive been suffering with an Anal fissure for the past 3 years, it has taken over my life I would not wish this upon anybody, im not myself anymore ive always worked and I still am, there are some days where you think man I cant do this anymore, I just want to be a good father/husband and have a happy life. I'm currently waiting for Lateral internal sphincterotomy which God I hope it works, my only question is did anyone else have this surgery and have incontinence before the surgery? and did the incontinence eventually stop after the surgery anybody's advice would be much appreciated, thank you.

    i joined another group because if i dont get better within 5 month I will consider LIS and mostly all them told me LIS was the best thing ever and no incontinence.

    follow this group on FB(was given by another member of this page ) anale fissure support group.
