Yes it is possible but unlikely children do get cancer.. you shouldn't jump to conclusions.

As with anything, you need you get checked out and the only way is with a scope, your doctor probably needs to make a referral and generally, there is a long waiting ist for a scope.

You mention fissure so I assume this person is in pain, how old ?

I would first get checked out by a GP, then a proctologist and then a scope if needed.

It took them 6 months to figure out I had cancer, so the sooner you start the better. Chances are it is just a fissure.

Pretty sure you have a fissure, there are two types if you don't know yet, acute and chronic. Acute should heal in 1-2 weeks and not more than 8, chronic may in theory never heal completely. I was in agony for over 1 year, couldn't sit, couldn't walk, couldn't lie down, constantly in pain ..

I would definitely have a doctor check you out if you haven't already. As a female you likely not going to want a doctor poking around, but it is in your best interest, try find a female doctor at a walk in clinic or something and/or go try see a proctologist or have your doctor refer you to one.

Maybe wait awhile to see if it heals. Don't try initially cure it, try manage it. Meaning drink a lot of liquids every day, liquids make your stool soft. Try stay off stool softners, they no good for you anyway.

Take a look at my profile, I have a blog about chronic fissures and what I went thru.

If you asking about my cancer, I had a GIST or stomach cancer. I basically was losing blood, my iron got very low, I slowed down completely, couldn't walk up hills I was able to previously .. took them 6 months to diagnose me, blood tests and the regular tests didn't show up anything unusual, only went they went in with a camera and took some samples where they able to tell what it was.

I do not have fissures, when I felt tiny tear and hurt, because it's bum or lump like small pea. I do not want the tiny tear expand, when it becomes fissure and it's not good. I control it, I eat a lot fiber and drink gallon a day and fiber supplement after the meal.Until today I still have bum or lump, not fissure. I am feeling good for my heath and well being myself. I have tried anything to make the lump to becomes like tiny dot, about 1/50 inches. I still fell it, left side in my anus, I still use Rectiv ointment 0.4% to make my sphincter veins and capillaries carry red blood cells carry enough oxygen to feed the sphincter to strong.I based on research when the sphincter did not have enough red blood cell, and when we have the lump to tear the wall epithelium in anus, and fissure begins. If we are not controlling the eating and poop so hard and strain on the toilet, and it's not good for us. I search  many articles to rebuild the circulation system like how to make red blood cells to carry so much oxygen all through our body. You can look on " Blood vessel-Wikipedia.

The sphincter- Wikipedia. I think it helps you to understand anatomy. I learn a lot and how to understand circulatory system.
