Anal Fissure? Something worse?

Posted , 4 users are following.

For months now I have bright red bleeding and pain when opening my bowels. I know I have a pile there as I'm pretty sure I can feel it.

This is really scaring me more so because with the New Year I know my Doctors surgery is closed. My anxiety is through the roof and I now can't relax at all.

Also I think I'm losing weight. Husband and friends have commented. I definitely feel more bone than before. Isn't weight loss associated with something worse? Or can it be just an anal fissure.

I will see my Doctor on Tuesday but please I need to talk to someone.

My doctor told me as long as the blood is bright red, don't worry. Can it be that you are eating less, fearing having a BM and maybe that's why you're losing weight? Try to relax, I know that's easier said than done. You'll be seeing your doctor day after tomorrow.

Vanessa, try to relax.  When I had my anal Fisher, the only good thing about it was I did lose weight. I was not as hungry as normal and thus the weight loss.  Hang in there. You are not alone. I worry every day about my Fissure coming back !

Hi Vanessa happy new year. With new day there is always a hope. If you thinking of worse I did the same. The doctor told me if it’s cancer is not painful. It is fissure I had the same feelings that I had something more than fissure or piles. This is one of the reason you losing wait worried, and losing your apitaite. One of the best way is to get relax. Music try to listening if you can. Late us know about your progress. Cheers
