hello I just received sphyncterotomoy surgery, she removed 2 skin tags along with it but did not remove my hemorrhoid although those hurt to. She stated it would be to long of healing well now it is so flared up its huge hanging out, covering my entire hole. I'm in tears with pain, I'm 15 weeks pregnant and I can't get any relief. I haven't had a bowel movement but will try tips in the morning, please tell me what to do to get the swelling down from my hemmriod and to be able to poop !? 😦

oh my. you need to call the doctor and see if she be able to prescribe you with ointment to apply on. i tried many conservative way last time it's not as effective as the prescription ointment. especially you are pregnant it's better to seek advise from your doctor.

I find it quite effective for me for pain relief and treatment for hemorrhoids. But you need to ask your doctor which ointment or treatment is best for you as you are pregnant.

You need to call your doctor since you are pregnant. Possibly, she can give you a steriod cream to bring down swelling. Milk of Magnesia is mild for a laxative ( But ask your doctor first) . You can also try sitz baths or soaking in a tub, Sitting on ice packs, .. Until you get in to see your doctor.
Feel BETTER!

Hi Shayla,
I'm so sorry you are having such a rough time.
It sounds to me like it could have become a thrombosed hemorrhoid. Definitely give your Dr. a call and see what they offer to do for you. Also make sure to keep up on your fiber every day 25 grams at least, and drink a ton of water to go with it. It makes bowel movements a lot easier and they won't irritate your hemorrhoids as much. Take sitz baths also after each bowel movement to cleanse and soothe the area. Hope you feel better soon!

thank you everyone, it is quite large, reminds me of when I first got them and they were bleeding like crazy. Everyone thought my pain was from my fissure, and I did too but now all I feel is the pain from my hemorrhoid since she stirred it up but didn't remove it. I think the swelling should go down but I need to use the bathroom and that freaks me out since I'm so swollen and then my fissure surgery I cannot let it rip open 😕 . My doctor didn't think I would be in this much pain but it is one of the worst pains I've ever been in. anyone have the fissure surgery but they keep the hemorrhoids and it still felt better after a while of healing that's what I'm worried about.

I had this surgery done two months ago. 😦 What I have around my anus is swollen up..I thought were hemmorhoids because they weren't there before surgery. The doctor says now are some kind of tags. I still am in a lot of pain. My doctor has referred me to another doctor to go to in August. I am so disappointed in this surgery and I still have mucus discharge two months later and a hard time cleaning up after bowel movements. I hope you find relief and I hope we all get better from these horrible surgeries
