Anal fissures or lichen sclerosus

Sorry if there’s TTI. I noticed a few years ago i would get anal fissures on occasions after bowel movements. However, lately I’ve noticed them more frequent as well as a paper cut tear at the forchette/perineum after sex. I’ve looked in a mirror to see if I could see anything going on and noticed the anal and perineal area is white/scar coloured and has fissures. I don’t experience any itching, just slight discomfort after sex and bowel movements. I really don’t know what this could be! I keep coming across lichen sclerosis but not sure if this is what it is. I haven’t been to the doctor yet about the issue.

    Hi Jade, I would get to a GYN or Vulvar Dermatologist, Iam thinking it may be related...

    People come here after they got diagnosed with LS....Ls can spread to the back passage and not treating the area with steroid cream and looking after it,  can cause anal fissures or worse.

    Get diagnosed.........

    Yep Jade, get yourself diagnosed.... important. If it’s LS you’ll be on top of things before spreading. Xx
