Anal fistulomy with seton placement

Hi guys, Im a 35 year old husband and father of 2. I recently had a fistulomy with seton palcement surgery on 12/21/20 and had setons removed on 1/19/21, so far so good surgery was brudal and a long recovery but healing good now. I still have swelling around the scotum area, the fistula was a long tunnel to the scrotum and around the sphincter muscle. is this normal to have swelling 2 months after the surgery, swelling comes and goes and colorrectal surgen did not seem to concerned about it, he said it will eventually go away but i still worry, has anybody had swelling after surgery?
