Anal herpes or hemorrhoid? (pic included)

Does this look like anal herpes or a hemorrhoid? I have no symptoms other than it hurts if touched and a little itchy sometimes. It doesn't hurt when I go to the bathroom either. Please help so scared.

    Hi!!

Nothing to worry about here, that looks like hemorrhoid. Why do i think is that and not HSV?

    1. HSV will cause blisters in your genital areas.

    2. HSV will cause a very painfull iching

    3. Generally the iching and pain lasts from 1 - 2 weeks

    Wish you the best!

      Hi Doctor,

?I'm hoping you can help me with a similar issue. I have been diagnosed with HSV1 genitally. I had the first OB which was very painful but it healed and I have not had any symptoms since. I noticed that I have what appears to be a small hemorrhoid but due to the HSV1 diagnosis (3 months ago) I am nervous. There are no other symptoms, no sores, no pain just a small hemorrhoid looking spot. I have included a photo, what do you think?

      Thank you,

      ?Sara

      Hello sara64740,

First of all, sorry for the delay! Was in an off period for some time! No need to worry, the shingles become less frequent as time passes, surprisingly from twice a year, to roughly once a year. The first outbreak will be the worst, the second one will become less violent than the first, etc... In this image, i can only observe small haemorrhoid, can't spot any blisters or what so like. No need to be nervous!

      Best wishes and Merry Christmas!

hey doc. My butt hole area has been itching for about almost a month. I am a 14 year old virgin. The only symptoms I have is itching. I just told my dad about it and he thinks it is hemorroids. He bought me a cream for it about 3 days ago. It does work but it when I put it on at night the itchiness gets worst. I don't think I have hemorroids because I don't have anus bleeding after a bowel movement. But i'm going to a clinic tomorrow. I'm not sure if they are going to check me. just today i decided to see under there with a mirror. I have then same thing as kaylee. please respond fast I'm scared.

Can someone please help me? I've had this intense itching for months now and nothing is helping much. The only thing that helps a little is applying vitamin E oil. I don't think its herpes as I'm not sexually active ( although I do get cold sores on my lip/nose.) The itchiest place is just where the perenium meets the anus and also on the side ( My left side, right side in the picture.) Which con become inflamed very easily. The skin is very thin and easily broken. I have PCOS, could it be hormonal? Please, if anyone has any idea let me know I cant afford a doctor at the moment. Pretty freaked out and thinking of all the worst case scenarios.

Did you ever get result about this? I am experiencing the same thing and it’s driving me crazy worrying!

Hi, From what you’ve discribed, I’ve been experiencing the same thing. For years now unfortunately sad I have been back to the doctors many times with no luck. I wondered if you have got anywhere with it? I would love to know if you’ve found a cause/a cure. In my experience, it just gets a lot worse so I’d urge you to seek help if you can. I’ve just registered with a new doc so may go again.
