Anal itch and discomfort that won't go away?

Hispanic F here, 33 y/o. So story...

I shaved around my anal area like 40 days ago. Then I got my period. I use pads because I hate pulling or fingering things out of my vag when I'm in a hurry, so anyways--pads chafe, but this time they chafed around my anal area like hell. This happened more or less a month ago and after that, I felt like the chafe never really went away. It's not terrible, but I was left dealing with an itchy bum and it hasn't gone away. I have waited a lot because I blamed it on everything--residual chafing, hairs growing from where I shaved, hot temperatures--but now I'm starting to get worried.

Risk factors: I have one internal hemorrhoid, but it's not bleeding. I don't do anal sex. I do have IBS so sometimes my depositions are not normal--either diarrhea or I strain too much. I use dexpanthenol cream down there if I strain.

This itching seems to get worse when I am walking around. I take a half-hour walk every day, and when I'm finishing it the itching is bad. It doesn't happen when I'm sitting down. It happens at the toilet but just if I strain--the thing coming out feels perfect (it kinda scratches it). Tightening the butt a lot makes me feel like I got something stuck in there. Here are the two best images I could get.

Thanks in advance! Please help--or should I go straight to the doc?

From looking at your first picture I think you have a external hemorrhoid starting. I would suggest using witch hazel to clean and a cream to help with the itch.
