Anal pain when pooping on period

hi for years ive suffered with a shooting pain up my bum when i need to poop, but only right before or during my period After trying many precription pills, going back on the pill, and an ablation last year, my gyneacologist reccommended i have a hysterectomy thinking i have endometriosis I had the surgery slmost 2 weeks ago, but im still getting the excruttiating pain when i need to poop so now im really worried i had a hysterectomy for nothing what if its a bowel problem? or will it go once im fully hesled internally? has anyone else had this pain cured by a hysterectomy? i dont see my gyneacologist for another 10 days so thought id see if theres any advice on here thanks in advance
