Anal rash/blisters

Posted , 9 users are following.

I developed these tiny blisters around my anus and the insides of my buttcheeks last week. I live in riverside, ca, so the weather has been in the 100’s for the last week. I don’t know if it’s from the heat, of shaving, or working out/running, but it’s getting worse. When I would tap them with toilet paper, they would pop and it would be a clear liquid, no blood at all. Can anyone help me please? What is this?! I have a photo but don’t know how to upload it

They look like Impetigo.    They are fluid filled blisters which as you say are fragile and burst easily.    They are caused by a bacteria and a virus and are very contagious,  often appearing  when it is very hot.   With no treatment they should disappear as mysteriously as they appeared after about 3 weeks, although they may get sore as they burst. Keep the area showered at least twice per day, drying the area by blotting with a paper tissue which can be thrown away. Wash your hands well after touching the area.  Try to only wear cotton underwear and none at night to allow air to get to them. Wash your underwear at a very high temperature and a clean pair every day.  No sex while you have them as you may pass it to your partner.  Children and babies are highly susceptible so if you have any in your life try not to touch them.   You can get an ointment from the pharmacist containing Clotrimazole which may help.

Its common and not dangerous but if you start to feel ill with a temperature then you should see a doctor

Looks like you have a lot of soreness. Unfortunately you have the infection in a place that gets sweaty and gets wiped often so you cant contain it. They may spread to the tops of your legs so  try to get some medication from your doctor or pharmacist.   If you start to feel unwell you must see a doctor.

Did anyone ever confirm the diagnosis for this ? An online doctor is telling me it's herpes but it's like no way I have herpes and I'm hot the area is moist and extremely difficult to keep dry

I went to a sexual Health Clinic for testing because I thought I had herpes, the doctor took a look and she refused to test me because she says that it doesn’t look like herpes at all, she said it was more like a rash, but after reading all the comments in here, I’m pretty sure I have impetigo.

You may laugh but I had a problem in that area and had great difficulty with treatment.

I tried everything but as a last resort I tried mouthwash. It worked straight away. Stops inching immediately and cured the problem within days. Dab it on and let it dry.
