Anemia and low Cholesterol or LDL level

I have had anemia for as long as I can remember. It went from the doctor telling me to take iron supplements to iron infusions. I recently applied for increased life insurance and they denied it because my LDL was at .54 and that is low cholesterol. I always thought low cholesterol was okay but apparently not. My hematologist never mentioned this to me but the life insurance test came back with this. Can anyone tell me if these 2 issues are relative to one another?
