Angiokeratoma

I tried to start a discussion about this a while ago but have had no replies.

Along with more loss of architecture, I have an angiokeratoma - a purple spot on outer labia which after 3 months of doing nothing, bled yesterday. I am not due to see dermatologist until October and am hoping it will remain the same and not bleed again. I have had these before but only one that bled and then cleared up.

Has anyone else had similar?

Could it be skin weakness? Loss of collagen and elastin? Could you try Vit C and B? That helps my skin and nerves as well. One article I read suggested blood vessel abnormalities in the skin could be an LS factor but they weren't sure whether they were a cause or an effect.

thanks for responding bis. Funny your saying this as its exactly what I thought after our discussion about collagen; skin weakness. And of course steroid thins the skin, so its probably a viscious circle. This spot is on the smoother inner skin of labia too, so more delicate. It was wiping after peeing that set it off bleeding.

yes I take B supplement and pro biotic (6 billion CFU per day)
