Ankle arthroscopy and bone spur removal recovery

Posted , 1 user is following.

Hello all

I'm 34 and last Thursday 21st July I had ankle arthroscopy and bone spur removal on my left ankle. So far I haven't put any weight through the ankle as I want the best possible results but it's still sore. I have a bandage on it which is restricting movements in my ankle which I'm trying to do. I see the surgeon on the 9th August to take stitches out.

Im a keen footballer, boxer, runner and cyclist so this is torture for me not being able to do anything haha. Any advice on others experiences and when I could get back to exercise or any tips on recovery would be amazing?

Thank you
