Ankle arthroscopy post-op burning

Posted , 1 user is following.

I recently had ankle arthroscopy just under 5 weeks ago. 4 weeks in and i am experiencing unbearable amounts of burning on the sole of my foot and my toes. It feels like my foot is on fire, literally, stinging, nipping, tingling but most of all burning, and tender/sensitive to touch. I have raynauds in both my feet however these symptoms are not the same as my undamaged foot. Night time is especially worse, any warm temperture triggers the burning i have to keep my foot frozen cold otherwise I cant tolerate it. Before foot operation foot is usually cold and hard to heat up due to raynauds. Doctor has ruled out infection, given me amitriptyline as may be nerve related? anyone experienced this and does it go away. Crying in pain
