Ankle fracture - conservative management

interested in hearing from all who have recent ankle fractures but particularly keen to hear from those who had conservative management when orthopedics said it could have an operation to stabilise or just immobilise in a cast. i have a weber B broke in one place in lower tibia and ligament damage but no syndesmosis tear. im 4 weeks in and due to go back when ill have had the cast on for 5 weeks. Anyone go to the boot that soon or were you told to go away for another couple of weeks? how quickly did you heal? tips to improve bone healing? i am 50 so peri menopausal. tips for recovery and how quick were you walking again!

    hi i am day 5 of same as you- fibula break with boot and crutches and weight bear as able - -any tips appreciated but am secretly enjoying not doing any housework !!!!!!
