    Hi Andy,

I don't see why not. I do remember reading somewhere that you have to be able to stop suddenly and until you can do that you cannot drive.  However. it depends on what country you are in.

The other essential is the speed to move your foot to the brake pedal.

Andy driving a truck after ankle fusion is a bit different than driving your car.    I don’t think you will hurt your foot but I think it will be very uncomfortable it you drive too far.   Go slow at first ....short distances......let your ankle and muscles learn what to do again.   You can do it just be careful and don’t put anyone else at risk.

How does your ankle feel?   Does it go to sleep when in one position for any length of time?

      Hi

Yes it seems to give me all sorts of different sensations going numb cold feeling toes even though they are warm and pins and needles. Im just 12 weeks in and im hoping its going to start settling down im going to see the surgeon on thursday so im hoping to get out of the boot and to start weight bearing

12 weeks is a long time for no weight bearing.   I cannot fathom that, I am 3 weeks post opt from subtalar fusion and I was hoping to be partial weight bearing in 4 more weeks.

This is a crazy operation and it must be because of all the nerves and muscles that thread around your ankle.
