Ankle ORIF. Any tips? No pain but NWB for 6 weeks

so i had a delayed ankle orif after i broke it in 3 places in May. i was able to walk after and rehabbed myself then found out 2 weeks ago it was broken and I needed surgery which i had 2 days ago. told 6 weeks NWB. im day 2 post op and have no pain and not needing pain relief. any tips to get me through 6 weeks? i have a 4 month old so trying to do things inside with her but im already bored!!

Anyone been allowed to weight bear earlier? is it just based on healing?

    Hey,

    I was 10 weeks NWB, started WB yesterday! However, I know people that have started WB from the 4 week mark. It's all just down to how quickly your bones heal. (:

      thanks! think i just need to learn to be patient haha. how is it going now youre weight bearing?

      Strange! I'm not sure if you're just meant to know how to do it and it's common sense or if everyone else is in the same boat hahaha, I keep thinking I'm doing too little and then too much!
