Ankle stiffness and can't bearing weight

Hi everyone! 4 weeks ago I fell down to the ground from 1.5 metres high when I was on ladder and immediately I stood up and walked two steps suddenly I had an ankle sore and I couldn't bear weight that time. I went to the doctor that day so he ordered me to have an X-ray of my right ankle. Unfortunately its not broken but in my lateral malleolus and inside the talus there was a little crack. He said me to be in a cast about 4 weeks. Two days ago my cast was removed. And my doctor wrapped it with elastic bondage and said to come after a week, use crytches and not to bear weight just rest and spread medicinal balm to relieve pain and swelling. But yesterday I went to another orthopedic surgeon because my aunt recommended him. She said that he is well-experienced. So I went to that doctor and he bended and bowed my ankle very hard it was really painful. Then he said that my bones have already healed. He ordered me to mobilise my ankle as much as I can and to hit my heel to the ground. And also he said try to walk and walk. So I dont know which one to do. I am a student so I must back to studies as fast as I can. I want to buy I am afraid because there is a pain in my ankle when I bear weight. Give me advice please. Should I wait for another 7- 10 days and go to my first doctor or should I try to move and walk on my ankle??

Hi, in my oinion the orthopedic specialist knows his stuff so follow his advice. My ankle is nearly 9 weeks post surgery

but still stiff, hurts and swells when I walk but I have been told is normal and to persevere with heel to toe walking and doing all the exercises. I have accepted that ankles take quite a time to recover from trs

    auma. Good luck.

I feel like you should listen to your first doctor, because what if you walking causes more damage, because i went through the same thing with one doctor telling me to walk and one doctor not walking, i tried to walk and it just got worse and i had to have another surgery. I hope you don't have to go through the same thing that i went through. Good Luck!!!!!
