I had ankle surgery a plate and 9 screws 2 1/2 weeks post opt . I feel like i have a ball in my ankle and feel burning and stabbing pains Does anyone have this feeling how long does this this last
please any info is great

At 2 and 1/2 weeks I was in real pain. I didn't have the ball in the ankle feeling. My notes from the doctor said to let them know if the pain medicine did not make it manageable. Early on they recommended taking meds before the pain got really bad. They said it was easier to prevent severe pain than to get it under control.
Use what you were given, not more than prescribed, and let them know if it's not working.

hi, I am 2 weeks and 2 days post op and I have also just recently feel like a ball in my ankle moving if i position my foot a certain way. i wouldnt say it hurt but is this normal? did it go away for you?
i dont have burning and stabbing pains though. right now. i did a week ago, hopefully not anymore...
