I had ankle surgery on the 15 Jan 6 screws and plate had cast off now in black boot only when I go out, got a splint to wear inside to walk with crutches is it normal to get real bad shooting pain in ankle and have some scans still

I don’t know what’s normal anymore
I am going to have a screw removed on Tuesday it was put in to stabilize my ankle and dr says it’s better to get it out cause it will give me better movement in my ankle. I will get rid of the boot after the screw is removed. But I’m in pain all the time I go to pt and I work full time I would have been fired if I didn’t go back but the second half of my day is like a marathon cause i feel so crummy I can barely make it to t 5 o’clock
Then I go home and put my leg up and lay there till I go back to work
That’s my life and it’s getting to me...and I don’t know what’s normal ???? I hope this gets better cause this is no way to live . I have no idea it seems like I should feel better 3 months in...
I will get rid of the boot after the screw is removed.. how long have ago have you been recovering?
