I just happened to have seen your post. I have been off this site for a while but it popped up somehow in my email, so I wanted to answer. I broke my ankle about 4 years ago. It was a hard road for 6 months, I won't kid you, but after that it got much better and within two years I was perfect. Those six months were very hard though. My best advice is to realize this is a temporary problem and that the best thing is to put a smile on your face and then people want to be around you and the time will pass faster and happier. This site will be immeasurable in how it will help you make it through by sharing your ups and downs and giving you a ton of information, because no one understands except those going through this or who have gone through this. The other advice I would give you is to measure your success week by week instead of day by day. This too shall pass and others have gone through so much more....with permanent injuries. Hang in there, eat healthy, do your exercises, and soak in magnesium salt baths when you can. You will be able to jump and run again!
